\objectname checking

This service verifies the names of the astronomical objects marked by \object or \objectname macros in your LaTeX manuscript against the Simbad, NED , and VizieR databases.

Notes: Other default settings are possible: NED first, Simbad first, all with NED first , all with Simbad first

Checking the validity of lists of astronomical object names (outside the Solar System bodies) can also be performed from the Sesame Service.
