SET LABEL 

        [GREG1\]SET LABEL X|Y [Offset]

    Defines the distance between the label (legend drawn by command G\LABEL)
    and the corresponding axis.  The default is 2 character sizes in X,  and
    6  in  Y.   This  sometimes  require  adjustment for publication quality
    plots.
