METACODE EXPORT 

        [GTVL\]METACODE EXPORT FileName [DirName]

    Export the current (or specified) directory tree to an external metacode
    file of name FileName. The default extension is .meta . The sub-plot can
    later be reincorporated  using  command  METACODE IMPORT.   This  allows
    merging several plots together.
