UV_RESAMPLE 

        Resample  in  velocity a UV data to produce another UV data set with
    the desired characteristics  for  the  spectral  resolution.   See  also
    UV_COMPRESS or UV_HANNING for simpler (but more limited) channel averag-
    ing, and UV_AVERAGE to create a pseudo-continuum.
