We aim to perform a continuous uninterrupted 4.8hour observation of Cygnus X-3, with AOT CAM01. We propose to cycle repeatedly through the LW2 and LW3 filters (spending roughly 1-3 minutes with each filter) in order to measure the spectral variability of the infrared flares. To this end we propose a series of short CAM01 observations, using each filter once, but concatenating the AOTs to give an unbroken 4.8 hour observation. In addition we propose to study the intensity fluctuations of the quiescent emission, found in the ISO cycle 1 observations of Cygnus X-3, in an attempt to identify the origin of the far-IR emission.
