===================================================================== ==> In this proposal, more time is being requested for CJOBLIN.PAHSCHEM ===================================================================== The chemical identity of the carriers of the emission features at 3.3, 6.2, 7.7, 8.6, 11.3, and 12.7um is still poorly known. We propose to observe the spatial distribution of these features within the reflection nebula NGC1333-SVS3. This object was chosen because of its simplicity which makes possible a better characterization of the emitting particles. The observation of this simple object is necessary to interpret the measurements on more complex regions including HII and photodissociation regions (in particular from the proposals MGIARD.WDUSTHII and CJOBLIN.PAHSCHEM). This may of course be of interest for other ISO observers. NGC1333-SVS3 was the object with the highest grade in the proposal CJOBLIN.PAHSCHEM but was unfortunately not observable for an autumn launch. Due to the longer lifetime of ISO, this object will be visible next year. We take then the opportunity of this second call to propose a careful mapping of this object in the 6.2, 7.7, 8.6, 11.3 and 12.7um features.
