NGC 604 is the brightest star-formation complex in the nearby spiral M 33. It
will be observed in the central programme with CAM (filter imaging), PHOT, LWS
and SWS. In order to help interpret the CAM filter imaging and obtain more
information on the properties of gas and dust in this complex object, we
propose an observation with the CAM CVF: it will map unambiguously the
different Unidentified Infrared Bands and several fine-structure lines, which
are not well separated by the CAM filters. We expect to see a wealth of details
with the resolution of 6".
