Broad line radio galaxies (BLRGs) display properties in
between those of radio-loud quasars and narrow line radio
galaxies. IRAS far-infrared energy distributions of some
BLRGs indicate the presence of a hot dust component,
whereas optical spectra of several BLRGs have revealed
an unusually bright starlight component. We wish to use
ISOPHOT to observe a sample of broad line radio galaxies
in order to examine this trend further. The resulting data
will be used to investigate (circum)nuclear star formation in
BLRGs and to address the place of the BLRG class in unified
 schemes for radio-loud objects.
